By installing a domestic heat pump you can save up 67% on your hot water heating bill. It is estimated that an average household uses 30% to 40% of total electricity costs on water heating. SA Heat Pumps qualify for SANS 10400-XA.

Residential integrated units (SHPI units)

These are ideal for developers and new buildings as they are fully integrated heat pump and water storage cylinder. These units qualify for SANS 10400-XA stating that 50% of hot water generation should come from other sources than element heating. Key attributes are:

Residential split unit (SHPS)

These models are used for installation on existing geysers. The element in the geyser is switched off and replaced by the heat pump.
